Season’s greetings and happy holidays Networkers!! It’s Lauren here to spread a little holiday cheer! A few of you may know that the Stop Now and Plan program has had some wonderful additions the last few months. We welcomed new #NetworkSnappers in six circuits and Brandi R. Hudson was hired as the SNAP Program Specialist, moving from her native Pennsylvania to Tallahassee for the position. In the middle of all this incredible growth, my family received the wonderful news of a job opportunity my husband could not pass up in Melbourne, Florida. After a lot of discussion and the incredible support from the Network team, we are happily resettled in central Florida where I continue my role with the Florida Network from the offices of Crosswinds Youth Services. The last few months have been a whirlwind, but I look forward to 2018 and all the amazing things SNAP and Florida Network member agencies will do for Florida’s youth and families.
This holiday season I am especially grateful for our Florida Network family, it’s truly inspiring to work alongside such passionate and dedicated individuals who serve Florida’s vulnerable youth 24/7, 365 days a year.
