The Florida Network would like to give a warm welcome to our newest staff member, Brandi R. Hudson! She has joined our team and moved to Tallahassee from Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. She will be serving as our Stop Now and Plan (SNAP) program specialist and will be assisting in training and supporting our SNAP site staff. She has worked with the SNAP program for 9 years and is trained in the boys, girls, and school based programs. Desiree Phillips, SNAP Senior Trainer-Community Facilitator with the Child Development Institute says: “Brandi has been an outstanding asset to the SNAP program at Holy Family in Pittsburgh. It was amazing for us at SNAP headquarters to know that she was able to pursue a professional opportunity that not only allows her to enhance and share her tremendous skill, but remain a member of the SNAP family. Florida network has acquired a true gem in Brandi and she will be a great addition to the remarkable SNAP team there.”
Brandi was kind enough to answer some fun questions so the Network family can get to know her better.
Network: What are you most looking forward to now that you are working for the Florida Network?
Brandi R. Hudon: Being in Florida! [Laughs] I also look forward to being able to do what I’ve always wanted to do- spreading SNAP. I want to be the Oprah of SNAP.
Network: What is your favorite season?
Hudson: Fall!
Network: Who is your favorite college football team?
Hudson: West Virginia University Mountaineers!
Network: What is your favorite movie?
Hudson: What! I can’t pick just one! It’s got to be the Fifth Element.
We look forward to introducing Brandi at our next Florida Network event!
