Staff Spotlight on Brandi Hudson
Program Coordinator
Q. What’s the most meaningful part of working with the Florida Network?
Brandi: “The most meaningful part of working with the Florida Network is the amount of impact that can be made. This is an organization that is not only in Tallahassee, but it’s also in the whole state of Florida. The opportunities for lasting impact are endless.”
Q: What do you wish you had more time for each day?
Brandi: “To craft, I love it. I want to have a room dedicated to crafting!”
Q. What book have you read that has impacted you most and why?
Brandi: “I would have to say “A Child Called It.” Reading that during my junior year of college (Go Mountaineers!) showed me that I wanted to be able to help and advocate for children that were less fortunate. I wanted to show them love.”
Q. What keeps you going when you feel pressure or uncertainty?
Brandi: “One word – Jesus! I’ve had some dark days, and He’s been the light, even when I’ve run from Him.”
Q. What is something about the Florida Network you wish more people knew about?
Brandi: “That the Florida Network advocates for youth, families, and all of our partners. We go HARD for them!”
Q. What’s your favorite weekend activity?
Brandi: “Watching good movies. Have any recommendations?”
Q. Who inspires you?
Brandi: “Do I have to pick one? A few people actually: my mother Ella, because she has a huge heart and is so strong; my apostle, her wisdom is unmatched; my brother because he’s just dope! Also, those I can truly call sister (too many to name, never wanted sisters, however never knew I needed them) and my Dad. My love of music and movies continues to allow me to keep his legacy alive.”
Q. What do you want your legacy to be?
Brandi: “I want my legacy to be that I loved hard, laughed loud, sang songs even louder, and was a true servant to others!”
