211 is the most comprehensive source of information about local resources and services in the country that is comprised of compassionate, highly trained community specialists who are available to help you access the best local resources and services to address any need.

Florida Suicide Prevention Coalition (FSPC)

The FSPC is a non-profit organization composed of loss survivors, crisis center staff, researchers, and concerned citizens who offer help, hope, and resources to those experiencing issues related to suicide and to those that have had a loss to suicide. Resources can even be located by county.

National:

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

If you’re thinking about suicide, are worried about a friend or loved one, or would like emotional support, the 988 Lifeline network is available 24/7 across the United States and provides free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)

AFSP is a nationwide community empowered by research, education, and advocacy to act against this leading cause of death.

American Psychological Association (APA)

The mission of the APA is to promote the advancement, communication, and application of psychological science and knowledge to benefit society and improve lives among all ages, including teens.

Children’s Safety Network (CSN)

CSN provides resources for a variety of child safety topics, including, but not limited to, self-harm and suicide prevention.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

NAMI is a non-profit, grassroots organization that works in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Teen & Young Adult HelpLine

The NAMI Teen & Young Adult HelpLine offers a direct connection with another young person who shares similar experiences and is prepared to offer information, resources, and support to help you move through difficult times to a better place. Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide (SPTS)

SPTS is dedicated to increasing awareness, saving lives, and reducing the stigma of suicide by providing resources that empower individuals to gain the skills needed to help youth build a life of resiliency.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)

SAMHSA is an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This site is dedicated to the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention, offering the public facts about suicide and prevention resources.
